Human bones and muscles are many institutions in our body, and each institution has many types of compositions. In other words, we can also say that the human body is a complex machine, to know which it is necessary to study each and every small part of the body part.

The most important of these institutions of our body are the bone institution and the muscles. The following are the details of these two institutions of the body.

Bone Institute

Bones make up the human body structure. Which in common language is called bone skeleton or skeletal system. It is because of bones that our body takes shape, in its absence the body would have remained just a lump of flesh.

In order to keep the body healthy and active, it is very important to have complete knowledge of bone structure, joints, and muscles for the treatment of injuries caused by accidents.

There are a total of 206 bones in the human body. Out of these 206 bones, there are 28 bones in the head, 58 in the trunk, 60 in both hands, and 60 in both feet.

Bone Institute Functions

1. The bone skeleton provides shape and stability to man.

2. The bone skeleton is helpful in the processes of standing upright, sitting, lying down, walking, etc.

3. Bones make the body flexible.

4. Bones form various joints of the body.

5. Bones provide movement to the body.

6. The bone system protects many sensitive organs of the body like the heart, brain, lungs, liver, etc.

7. Bones help in controlling internal pressure.

Bones are divided into different parts from the point of view of body size and from the point of view of organs.

Meniscus (skull) and facial bones

It is connected with the upper end of the spinal cord – the brain shell is made up of eight bones, in which some special senses like eyes, nose, ears, etc. are found.

The underside of the skull is the face, it contains a bone, which we call the jawbone or mandible.

2. Bones of the chest and spine (trunk) – It contains 33 bones of the spine and 12 bones of the ribs of the chest. A very important spinal thread of our nervous system is found in the bones of the spine.

The ribs join the bones of the spine in the back and in the front, except for the two pairs of lower ribs, all the bones in the middle of the chest are mixed with the sternum and protect the heart and lungs.

3. Bones of shoulder and arm- There is one long bone from shoulder to elbow, and there are two bones in the elbow. There are eight small bones in the wrist, five bones in the palm, three small bones in each finger, and two bones in the thumb. The bones of the five fingers are called cores.

4. Bones of hip and leg- There is a long bone from thigh to hip. There are two bones in the foot. There are seven small bones in the ankle. The leg bones are attached to them. There are 5 straight bones in the sole of the foot and 14 bones in the fingers.

Bone joints

Where two or more bones meet, that place is called a joint or joint. There are mainly two types of joints found in the body

Immovable treaty-

In place of this type of joint, the bones are firmly attached to each other, there is no movement. For example, the pairs of bones of the skull and face.

Movable treaty-

The joint in which movement takes place is called a movable joint. There are four types of movable treaties and

Chuladar treaty

This treaty is also called the occupying treaty. This

In this type of joint, the part of one bone is adjacent to the pit of the other bone in such a way that it moves in the same direction.

Just as the door or box or lid opens in only one direction, the one and its hinges remain engaged, in the same way this treaty works. These joints are found in the elbow, knee, and fingers.

Kieldar Treaty-

In this type of joint, the pointed end of one side is inserted into the end of the bone on the other side, due to which the upper bone can move around.

This type of joint is found in the spine and the first and second vertebrae of the spine. For this reason, the skull can be rotated here and there.

Sliding joint

Between these bones, there is a cushion of cartilage. Which avoids rubbing against each other. Similar bones are found between the vertebrae of the spine and in the ankle and wrist.

Kanduk khallika treaty

In this type of joint, the round end of one long bone remains trapped in the round pit of the other bone. A similar type of joint is found in the shoulder and hip. This type of joint allows the arm to move around.

Meaning of fracture

Boys and females participate in sports in school at a stage when their bones, muscles, nerves, and ligaments are still growing. With the slightest carelessness, they can get hurt.

Injuries can happen not only in sports but at any place like home, road, or industrial site. Bone fracture is called fracture, in such a situation first aid should be given to the player on the field of play itself.

symptoms of bone fractures

1. Swelling occurs in the affected area.

2. There is severe pain in the affected area.

3. Cramps come in that place.

The following types of first aid can be given immediately after bone fracture.

1. The boy/girl concerned should be given rest.

2. One should not try to connect a broken bone.

3. The broken part should not be allowed to move.

4. To treat the organs, a triangular bandage, and a hot bandage with a sponge should be tied.

5. The patient should be carefully taken to the doctor without delay.

Muscle tissue

We know that our entire body is covered with skin. Under this skin, there are red-colored muscles. There are not the same muscles on the whole part of the body, somewhere they are less, somewhere more.

There is also a difference in their texture. The middle part of the muscles is thick and both the ends are thin, which are attached to the bone skeleton.

There are many types of cells in our body. Muscles are made from those cells. All human movements are accomplished by these. The amount of protein in the body is more in the muscles.

Muscles make up 43% of our body weight. While about 600 muscles are found in the human body. Which together work like a ‘muscular system’.

Types of muscles

There are three types of muscles from the point of view of structure and function of the body.

1. Voluntary muscles

There are about five hundred voluntary muscles in the body, long, short, thick, thin, and wide. These muscles are attached to the bones with the help of ligaments.

For this reason, they are also called muscles that attach to bones. All these muscles remain in the outer part of the body which makes the body beautiful and strong.

On seeing the internal structure of any one voluntary muscle, a thin but strong covering is found in the outermost part.
