Some also have pain in the stomach. Even after the fever subsides, the patient remains weak for weeks.

Keep in mind that if the fever does not subside in 4-5 days, then the fever may be due to some other reason as well.

Being a viral disease, there are many special medicines for this disease. For symptoms like fever, headache, and body aches, medicines like ‘Paracetamol’, ‘Crocin’, ‘Metacin’, ‘And Calpol’ are considered useful, cheap, and relatively safe,

But the medicine should be taken under the supervision of a doctor.

Sometimes their opposite effects are also seen.

Aspirin has also been found beneficial in viral fever. But this medicine should not be given to asthma, liver, and peptic ulcer patients and children.

Never take this medicine on an empty stomach.

Alcohol drinkers also should not take this medicine, they may have stomach bleeding. Ampicillin, Tetracycline Septran, Ciplain D.S. in Viral Fever. Do not give antibiotics like ciprofloxacin, gentamicin, and chloramphenicol even by mistake.

These medicines have no good role in this disease. But when in the patient with viral fever, bacteria also attack and cause bacterial pneumonia.

In such a situation, it becomes necessary to give ampicillin, ciprofloxacin, which is effective against bacteria. Nevertheless, after examining the sputum, take appropriate antibiotics accordingly.

Cough syrups containing codeine (Mits Codeine Compound) are fine for relieving cough but do not take in excess. Codeine causes constipation.

If the patient with viral fever is also vomiting, then Domperidone should be given to the patient. Consumption of Polycrol, ‘Diazine’ is beneficial. Instruct the rest of the patient to rest at all costs.
